![]() ![]() Getting ReWire working correctly can take a while when you first start making sense of ReWIre, and when everything gets a bit confused, it is a good time to reboot the computer to clear any buffers or whatever that might be temporarily confused. No ReWire slave applications will be available for use with Live unless you quit the current ReWire master application and restart Live. And then when I open Ableton, I get the dreaded message that "Live has detected another active ReWire master application. I'm down to the wire with 2 weeks until the show and have not been able to rehearse with NTempo and the frustration is extremely high. When I go to the mixer to add the ReWire Aux, it says no ReWire outputs available. I have had no luck getting Notion to host, but I can get it to slave. I purchased Notion after viewing a YouTube tutorial demoing that it could be the ReWire HOST to Ableton Live. However, I needed more instrumentation and expression than is available through Notion, so I orchestrated the piece via input in Ableton Live 9. I am trying to use Notion 4 for the NTempo feature for a musical being performed at a local church. ![]()
